Profile: Green Destiny

Personal background
Hi, I'm Alex. I'm 18, and am originally from Winnipeg, Canada. I'm currently an Engineering student at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Canada. I just joined SETI @ Home recently, and am very excited about assisting human kind in this venture.

"The universe is vast, billion times larger than we perceive.
It would be an awful waste of space if humans were alone"
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Knowledge is power. The more we can learn about the universe, whether through extraterrestrial contact or scientific research, the better. For sure, we will eventually discover other life forms. The question that remains is how long it will take. Transmitting a beacon or sending a probe seems like a good idea. We could send information about our location in the solar system, our environment, and pretty much anything we can include.

SETI@home is great. I hope the project keeps going and going. SETI @ home simply shows that when the whole world works together, there is no limit as to what we can do.
