As I started to support SETI, my computer ran with an 486DX4-100 and 48MB of RAM. It took about a week to complete one Unit. Now it is done within 2 hours and still my team is Blue Oyster Cult. I am the one you warned me of!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Extraterrestrial life exists, that's out of question for me. No one can tell if we'll ever find one of those but I believe that it is better to look for new friends than closing the door to the outer limits. Mankind will destroy itself. Maybe not tomorrow but we will. Someone will push the button and then it's over. I personally hope that mankind will change its behaviour when we find out that we are not alone. That's why I support SETI. Live long and prosper!
