Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I haven't given a lot of thought to ETs until now. Some famous old sage. I don't remember who, once said that you learn a little something from everyone you meet. I subscribe to that theory. We learn something even from the bad guys. Think what we could learn from beings that have evolved in another world. My only caution would be that I would hope that any life form we got in touch with had a benevolent nature and didn't use or abuse us for their own ends. And vice versa of course!.
