My name is John Hornbeck and I am from Lawton,OK USA. I am a linux instructor at a local technology center, and also a clerical assistant/assistant sysadmin at the public library in Lawton. I am really into computers, physics, and sci-fi; so I am a regular geek. I also do programming in python.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

1. I believe in extraterrestrial life, mainly because the universe is so large and it would be almost impossable for us to be the only beings.
2. I think that we should transmit a beacon because if we are to find something than we need a way of trying to communicate.
3. I run SETI@home because I think it is a great project and if I can help with something I believe in than I will do what I can. |
