Profile: Kerry Kok

Personal background
Well, just as ordinary guy from one of the equatorial countries. Usually I like to swim, going to white sand beaches, and cycling in the countryside in my free time. I feel it's good sometimes to get away from the bustle & hustle city life. Refreshment and revelation would come if we could listen to the voice of nature...

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I don't think extraterrestrial life exist. Well, when I say that, I mean that there's no complex intelligent life out there except some primordial form of organic molecules (methane, nitrogen based compound, etc) which scientists thought essential to the development of an organism.

I believe in the Word of God in the Bible that life was created by a higher life for some divine purposes. Personally I rejected the idea of evolution presented by Charles Darwin, which Darwin himself later claimed that the theory is intrinsically wrong! Life on earth does not come into being by chance. In fact, it is impossible by the second law of thermodynamics.

Don't get me wrong for still running Seti@home if I don't think ET exists. I run it for the sake of fun and simplicity. It is, though, exhilarating to get more work units completed and rank among the top.
