Profile: Jim Holly

Personal background
Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, and have lived in this area all my life (68 years). Retired from working for a smaller city north of Cincinnati as a maintenance technician (30 years). Always been interested in electronic "gadgets" and now my focus is on computers. My system is always on, and always processing SETI work units. You can read more about this area and why it is an excellent place to visit with many great attractions, plus view more information about myself and companion, Genie, at My Home Page.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
It's inconceivable to me to believe that we are the only intelligent life in this universe. There are too many galaxies, with millions of suns in each, for us to be the only ones. With recent events like The Disclosure Project and other reports, sightings and news coverage of 'the unexplainable,' I feel that we are already being visited by aliens on a regular basis.

Being a member of The Planetary Society and the National Space Society, I've always had a deep interest in the exploration of space. SETI presents another means of helping to advance this exploration.
