| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I can't quite believe, that in all the billions of galaxies adding up to trillions of stars, we are the only intelligent life form in existence.
If the SETI@home project locates one, I think it will be a matter of stumbling across another culture that is inadvertently announcing their existance the same way we are - by blasting their equivalent of radio and TV transmissions into space, without thought of who might "hear" the signals some day.
