Profile: Tonini

Personal background
I'm a 34 years old mexican citizen. I studied biology time ago but now I'm more interested in medical emergencies, so, I become a paramedic.

I love science fiction, no matter the kind -hard, soft, cyber, etc-, and I've written a couple of short stories about it.

Well, that's all.

Good luck.

PS. I love cats too.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
About the first question: do I think ET life exist?
I think the answer is obvious: yes. The universe is so big so I think it's impssible to think another thing. The problem maybe is time... two civilizations who coincide in time to develop a technological equivalence is more difficult.

And about the risk-benefit of the discovery of ET life... I think the benefits overrides the possible dangers of the discovery. Maybe right now our civilization is not prepared for such notice, we are still too much thinking about religions, by example.
