| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I am positive there is extraterrestrial life out there. I mean, honestly. Think about how many galaxies are out there in the Universe!! People can deny all they want, but the numbers speak for themselves. Now only if we could get to Europa and check out the seas there! I'm sure there's oceanic life there not unlike that of the Mariana trench in the Pacific.
I read of an equation that stated there may be at least 20,000 planets out there that are capable of supporting life. I think there are more than that, though! ;)
I should hope we discover life out there before I die. I'm so interested in what's out there, I can't help but be excited!
I run SETI@Home mostly because I feel like I'm doing my part to help out the search. I feel like I'm getting something done, even though it's probably very miniscule! ;) Still, I hope that this helps out SETI in any way it can!
I think the project is a great idea! There are millions of computers out there that can be utilized to help out SETI, and I'm proud to be one! |
