Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe life does exist outside of our planet. It will be in a form of signals I feel confident about that. Because any civilization capable of intersteller flight can evade our simple detection systems or will be able
cloak their presence. It could have both good and bad aspects in being discovered. Good to finally know that we as a race are not alone in the universe. The down side it that it is possible that the lifeforms could be
in search of new worlds to consume its resources and destroy the planet we live on . I believe that we should continue to search for those special signals and this is why i run the program. I hope that others continue to allow to use their home computers to further research the signals. Every decephiered piece helps. At least the knowledge that we are trying is good
enough. To continue to seek is the human spirit despite our petty differences.
I hope all who are interested should continue to let there home computers spend as much time as possible deciphering these signals.
