Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI not because I think there is theres a chance that theres life else that could communicate with us (the chance of such a thing is so low - the distance between us and the next viable planet for starters), but because if there did happened to be, it would be a shame that we missed it, plus my computers not doing anything else so why not.
