Life outside of our own planet is much too important a discovery to miss or even not to try and look for. There IS life out there, it's impossible for there not to be. Mold can grow anywhere... anytime
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe the discovery of any other life outside of this planet would be the most important discovery for the human race. We have too much strife over religion, politics, greed, power and hunger. A discovery of intelligent life could help unite humanity and lead us to work for a common cause. If not, we'd better get off of this planet and soon [20 years max] or the human race is in serious trouble. We have already damaged the environment to the point of becoming un-liveable and we are crowding out the other life forms on our planet. It's neither right nor fair to the other life forms on our planet. Our Earth will survive [it always does] but it's not going to clean it's self up for us. Earth would rather see us disappear or leave. We can't be children forever. We have to grow up someday and it better be soon.

Thank you SETI and Berkeley for doing this project. It is a very important project that you have under taken.
