I am a 29 year old system engineer from Aachen in germany. Using computers at home and work for a long time now, I had the great oppertunity to work on many different applications, machines and operating systems.
If you manage to see me outside one of my offices you will probably find me reading (crime-storys) or cruising the countryside.
I like to go out with my friends (and my girl-friend, of course), go to the cinema, hang around in pubs and so on ...

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I give support to SETI@Home for 2 reasons.
First: If there is extraterrestrial life out there we will have to find it. I think that no intelligent species in the universe will try to contact us as longs as we don't have the techniques to find them.
Second: I want to contribute to this very exciting project, making thousands of home-copmputers to work as ONE entity, that is analyzing radio-signals. It's a great feeling to be part of this project and it ecourages me to find more and more machines I can use the SETI-Client on.
