Personal background
Hello, I am a happy middle-aged Danish man working as a network administrator.
My favourite interests is the nature and our environment and how we take care of it. I am also a bass-singer in a rhytmic choir in Aarhus (Jutland). Take a look at our famous web-site at http://www.neverthelesskoret.dk
The text is written in Danish, but you can hear us sing some songs in English.
I like folk-music and beer (Guinness :) and attend to the Tonder Festival every year, where I listen to Irish, Scottish and Danish folk-music and music from all over the world. Sometime it seems as the music comes from the outside.
I live with my wife on a little ecological farm on Djursland where we keep some Gothland wool-sheep (look at the picture) and grow our own vegetables.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Of course there is some sort of life outside our own planet. Why not? Why should the earth be such a special place? Besides it wouldn't be fair if the earth had the patent on life. Some day I think we will hear from
somebody somewhere and I think we should send out more signals in different directions. Why not some folk music? I think someone somewhere would like to hear it and send us a bit of their own music. It would be very interesting to hear that.
I like the SETI-way of working together where 4 million users use their computers freetime and free power on the same project all over the World. It´s nearly as if we know each other in the SETI group.
