Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Maybe there is intelligence "out there", maybe not. Lack of contact is not proof of no one there, "they" might not want to know us, apart from the fact that the distances are extremely great, any contact in the foreseeable future will be one way, unless "they" are almost here...
The SETI@home project is an example of what can be achieved by co-operation amongst people, no matter how small the effort each contributes.
