Profile: James Carter

Personal background
Currently an 18 year old Sophmore at Fresno Pacific University in beautiful Fresno, California. There is not much else to say, except I think i will be double majoring in German and Physics (go figure). So I will begin spouting off random things and views.

Monty Python is good watching. Mel Brooks is a comical genious. Did you know lambchops was a jew? Le grenouille mange le pomplemouse. I like the simpsons, they make me laugh. It is good to write nonsenseical giberish once and a while, especially when you are in college. Just because someone is in or graduated from college doesn't make them smart. Everything should come with a Self-destruct button. EVERYTHING! EZ-Mac is quite possibly the most economical food ever. Why is it that everyone always squeezes toothpaste tubes from the middle? Nevada is a horrible state. Jesus is our only King. How can he do such great stunts with such small feet? That's what I have been trying to tell you. It's just a jump to the left and then a step to the right. The commies are just lying in wait. I think he is a member of Skull and Bones. I have come to see your Utopia and now I see it is more of a FrUtopia. Damn the torpedos, Full speed ahead! Let them all eat cake. ...and when the doctor said I didn't have worms anymore, that was the happiest day of my life. I can't wait to eat that monkey. No one expects the spanish inquisition. That's biblical.

And now for something completely different. Jeremiah 15:19-20.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. Extraterrestrial life probably does exist. We probably will not find it in my life time. And the probability of it being intelligent is very small. Hopefully, however, we do find one, it would make for interesting dinner conversation.

2. Technically we have been transmitting a beacon with all of our radio messages being sent around. But I do not think that a homing becon or something is the right way to go. Don't attract undo attention.

3. I run it for the same reason I play the Lottery, there is always that possibility of hitting the big one.
