Personal background
I am a Navy veteran who now teaches grown men how to drill for oil. I enjoy being a teacher and bringing knowledge into minds that need it.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI because, like any scientifically minded individual, I wanted to prove extraterrestrial life exists, and help in that venture in any way I can. Obviously I believe in life outside our world, but I don't think little green men have been visiting, and I think Roswell was a coverup, but not because aliens crash landed.

My suggestion to the project would be to have a convention and let all of our members meet, or at least, Team Parties! My team would rock at that if anyone steps up and does it.

Been on SETI@Home since 2002, and have gone to visit Greensbank and Arecibo. Absolutely awesome radio telescopes. And super friendly scientists willing to chat and answer questions.
