| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

Absolutely, I believe that there are other forms of intelligent life in the Universe. How will we discover? I don't know. Maybe someday another race will decide that it's time for "First Contact," or maybe we'll get that long-awaited signal, and go from there.
Benefits? Well, if the discover of other life doesn't rip our world apart from a religious war, then one could hope that we would band together to take this next big step from our planet out into the galaxy.
