I currenly live in San Diego California, patiently waiting for my "other half" to finish a Phd in engineering at UCSD. Running SETI@home helps to occupy all my free time. My goal is to break 1000 units processed before she gets done.

| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I do think that extraterrestrial life exists out there. We'd be pretty arrogant to assume that we're the only ones. When we finally prove this conclusively is anybody's guess. Finding life out there, though, can only help us to better understand ourselves and, hopefully, to stop taking ourselves so seriously.
I run SETI@home because I can contribute to something useful without having to make a huge sacrafice to do so. The SETI project is great and I'm glad I can be a part of it.
