Profile: Obliviator

Personal background
I was born in Indiana in 1981. I have always been interested with the stars, space, the planets, and so forth. Astronomy was and still is one of my biggest of hobbies. My dream is to be able to see the universe first-hand, to live long enough to see first contact initiated.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I do believe extraterrestrial life exists. It would be impossible for it not to. This universe is to big and expansive for it not to.

We should transmit a beacon. It would most likely increase probable chances of other life finding us as well as us finding them. I think the beacon should contain our solar system's coordinates, to help out extraterrestrial life in finding us.
I run SETI@home because it helps further cause in searching the massive universe. My views on this project are that it is one of the greatest things I have seen. An actual search for life. The more computers researching and analyzing data, the faster in (hopefully) making first contact.
