Profile: Paul Bryan Lester (AEP)

Personal background
I'm a priest/musician/martial artist/grad of Engineering Physics and Asian Literature from Cornell.
Presently working in Japan in the chakumelo industry making algorhytms
to move around bits and bytes to make music and manipulate it in
varied ways. I'm applying to grad school to do some research in physics
to hopefully reformulate Quantum Mechanics so its a lot more useful to
everyone on Earth. (Or at least I'm going to attempt it). There's
a few other related ideas I want to explore and maybe they'll all be
wrong but maybe one will help improve life for us all in some way or
other.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I like SETI because it allows me to help someone else's experiment. I believe
in ETs but don't put much hope in SETI finding them. But when I need
to do my own complex stuff on my computer I find SETI slows it down so
I have to periodically deactivate and even deinstall SETI from time to time
on various computers that I own and work with.
I hope next year to work on other aspects of physics that I find more fun,
and I may get to use the data I have been providing to SETI.... maybe.
