Personal background
My name is Claus Søgaard.
im 28 years old and live in Denmark. I study computers in wich i have great interest in. One of my great hobbies is space and studying the sky. How nice it is to sit out in a cold winternight and watch the stars and the messias objects in a telescope. Ofcause I start to wonder if there is life out there and i have come to my little konclusion that there is life. So what would be more natural to help you guys find it :-)

Thanks alot for this oppurtunity.

Greetings from Denmark
Claus Søgaard
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1: Yes im convinced there is life. Maybe we will not find it, but at least we can try and dont give up. imagine a world with only animals like we know them. No beacon will ever com from those and therefor we will not be able to find them by listening. Therefor we need to travel to the planets that might look like our own in order to find life. That will be dangerous... imagine a planet with dinosauroses....

2: Well, If we dont send other cant find us, but as we are transmitting radio, light we allready are sending up beacons.

3: I run SetiAtHome cause I might as well give away my leftover computerpower for a good cause. AND I find it very interesting!
