SPC Sleadd with the United States Army, 96R Military Intelligence
In addition to my duties with the military I am a student from the Rochester Institute of Technology and have recently graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree in the field of Criminal Justice (psychology). I am also an active role-play gamer and spend more than a healthy amount of time chatting online with friends from around the world. I have also had the opportunity to turn a hobby into a paying job by receiving an opportunity to teach Karate to small children and have trained under Shihan Kim Murray in Webster NY.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
To be honest I do not feel that we will ever contact extraterrestrial life. This is not to say that there is not life out there but that with the systems that we are now using to try and discover them the odds of our finding anything are far to slim. I suppose the reason I run this program is because I don't want to sit back and say there is nothing out there without doing my part to help others look for it.
