Extraterrestrial life exists, look at Jerry Lewis!
As for a beacon, finding E.T. is like fishing. Put a little bait in the water, but don't make too much noise or you'll scare the fish.... either that or they'll pull an Independence Day on your butt!
I run SETI@home becuase it is probably the most productive thing that actually occurs on my computer. If I don't use it productively, someone else should! |
