Hello, I am Bernd from Germany.
My age is currently 37 and I live in a town about 10km in the south of Stuttgart.
My occupation is some international logistics at an very big german car manufacturer.
I started with an celeron 400MHz but stopped seti@home
when there were 7 compleded workitems. Then it was quiet for about 1 year.
In July 2001 I built myself a new computer with an Athlon
1400 processor and installed seti@home again on this machine.
Again I stopped for about one year but in June 2003
all was set up again.
Currently seti is running on an Inetl Core 2 quad extreme
The picture was made in 2001 so none of the shown machines
are still there ;-)
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I heard from seti@home the first time in the year 2000 and
found it very interesting.
I'm not that interested in astronomic but the possibility to support such a project from home is a great thing
especially if there is spare CPU time :)
I belive that they are out there but I do not belive
that we discover them in this life.
