Personal background
I was born at Transkarpathia, Ungvar. Lived there for 3 years and then my parents moved to live to Kiev, because father moved to Kiev Institute of Otorhinolaryngology to oncology department.
Were studying in math/physics school and had some second and thrid places starting from 7th to end of the school on physical contests in Ukraine (at that time - republik of USSR). In spite of this was invited to enter Moscow Physical Technical Institute (MFTI), but because USSR breakage had not been entering there, but applied for and got in to Kiev Medical University.
Graduated as a ENT specialist, but worked as a doctor only during fellowship and Acting internship.
Nowadays doing consultancy in Telecom, being supervisory board members for several Industrial Groups related to ore production and machinery.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1.Yes, I really think that exraterrestial life exists, because there's so much signs of it everywhere. I think there is ALREADY a dicovery, but governments are not opening this info because of either idea of profitizing on it, either not to shock ppl too much and create a panic and stock exchange losses ;).
2. As far as I know, there is at least 2 of such beacons already created, one by the sovicets, another by americans. Informatin should be some kind of greetin, coded on EVERY frequency we can code it - Light, Radio, Sound, ultrasound, Infrared, Ultraviolet, etc.
3. Because I want to help and participate in this kind of activity

When I was writting it there was no "Men in Black" yet (:
