Personal background
'Ello. I am a 29 year old Intranet designer who would rather be famous with his band (Laconic!!!!). I am going through an "I hate computers" phase at the moment, but luckily music sees me through!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
1. I *do* think their is other life out there, at all levels of what we (in our arrogance) consider intelligence, ever thought they haven't contacted us because we are too stoopid?

2. I don't think that a race of space faring type would care what we thought, i suppose it's like me caring what a mouse is trying to say.

3. I run SETI@HOME so I can say "ha ha" if I find evidence of life elsewhere (my pants don't count apparently). I think it is a fantastic idea and one that underlies the ethos behind the Internet. Suggestions? How about SEPI in my pants?
