Personal background
Well, where do I start? Born in London '62 moved to Perth Australia in '87.
Yep that makes me 38 if you're reading this before November 2001 otherwise
I'm older!

Big Star Trek fan (who isn't?), my favourites being the original series and
ST-TNG.

Play various musical instruments and love recording in the studio.

I believe there is something / someone else out there but I have to wonder
if we are ready to find out - I can just imagine the panic that would set in
with some people.

When I was younger (so much younger than today - no stop that singing!), I
thought we would be travelling out into space by now - maybe only in our solar
system - but it seems strange that we have not gone beyond the moon by now.
It just shows how far off we really are and how SciFi films and TV confuse
reality!!

It may only be a press of the board at helm but Warp Speed? - I have trouble
starting my car somedays!!!

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe we should watch space and investigate - I personally don't think its
a good idea to invite all and sundry to visit. You really do not know who's
coming to dinner!

I hope we discover something and am glad to be a part of this project (albeit
somewhat minor in the grand scale of things). If we can all do our part then
thats all part of our inherent (did I spell that right) desire to know the
answers to the questions that we then ask ourselves, (did that make sense)?
