Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Why do you run SETI@home?
SETI seems a more worthwhile use of CPU time than 'idle loop', 'kernel(idle)' etc.

IMO All research is worthwhile.

Thoughts about ETI
Not really bothered whether intelligent life is out there. The odds are in favour, assuming the God-botherers aren't 100% correct. I would imagine any ETs wouldn't have to look like humans in drag, or be instantly fatal to people in red shirts.
