Personal background
I'm a student strongly interested in computers in music, that's about all there is about me.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The thoughts of extraterrestrial life have always interested me. I have done some minor research of my own into UFO phenomena, and have always been looking for some way to do more. I heard about SETI@Home from a site I frequent, gamedev.net. After looking over the basis of the project, I was convinced this was something I had to get involved in.

I really hope that SETI@Home is able to find something out there. I have no idea how long it will take or of what importance anything found will be, but I believe the project will have some great success. As computers continue to improve, the results are endless.

Computers have changed a lot since SETI@Home Classic started. We have more power than we imagined right now, and we need to take advantage of it. SETI needs to broaden its focus to look at more data, as we have the power.
