I crunch to help find aliens so that petrusbroder's son's friend will be scared.
Seti@home is the original DC project. They don't get the govt funding like so many other projects do, but this is the one that started it all. It's also a very worthwhile project in my opinion. People do much better with a goal, if we find other civilizations then we'll just HAVE TO go out and meet them.
