Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home

Q: Why do you run SETI@Home??

A: Well a friend of mine got me started on it cause he wanted to know just how fast my new computer was....

Q: How fast is it you say???

A: Well it's fast enough to run two workunits at the same time and get both done in 4 hours....

Q: Why two workunits at once..why not do just one quicker??

A: Well unfortunatly SETI@Home is uniprocessor compatible only. So I run two command for each CPU.

Q: Do you believe in the existance of extraterrestrial life?

A: Yeah...I mean it's a pretty big universe and even if you wanna go biblical it's pretty selfich to think we are all that god matter how you look at it...The SETI project is kewl in my book.
