Personal background
Born in Indiana, & later moved to Michigan. Moved after 8 years, to Ohio, where I resided until 32 years old. Later moved to North Carolina, where I presently reside.

Vocation: 4 years armed forces, Army. Grunt during the conflict in Vietnam. Later, was a border guard in West Germany (Bavaria), guarding East German / Czechoslavia Borders. 17 years selling building supplies, then later returned to college.Received my RN degree, then began working at local hospital in the Psychiatry Department. Eventually, went to work for Mental Health Center. Presently, working as a RN for the Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT), with people with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness (SPMI).

Married. Spouse is RN. Two children (girls), which one is a nurse also. Last child is preparing to graduate high school next year and she too is contemplating becoming a nurse. Oh yeah....and Marty, my son. 18 year old 1/2 Pomeranian & 1/2 Yorkie. Smart dog and spoiled rotten. Loves to go for rides.
Hobbies: Golf, Deep Sea Fishing, and Cribbage.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Yes...I believe that there is other intelligent life. It would be ignorant of us to believe that throughout the whole universe, that we were the only intelligent life out there. It would be a shame to let all that space go to waste.
There's too much evidence around to deny that another sophisticated life does not exist. Government cover-up? Probably yes! If anyone out there has an opportunity to talk to a few "seasoned" commercial pilots, I recommend doing it. I have.
Benefits: Technological advancement.

When contact is made public it will be the beginning of our demise. There will be mass hysteria.
