| I'm from a small country town called Gunnedah in the North West of New South Wales, Australia. I've always been interested in the fact that we can't be alone in this universe, I believe that we are not and would like to know that we have neighbours out there somewhere. I enjoy fishing, writing poetry, watching movies reading amongst other things. I spent 6 yrs in the Australian Regular Army from 91-97 and was medically discharged and am now in the local branch of the State Emergency Service. |

I believe that there is extraterrestrial life out there somewhere. I hope that we will find our 'neighbours' and that we will find them friendly and be able to treat them accordingly.
The benefits would be the sharing of information and technology in both scientific and medical fields.
The dangers would be that humans have a tendency towards violence and may be aggressive toward any intelligent life forms found or on the other hand, they might be the agressors and we would end up with a full scale war.
I believe we have plenty of space for everyone to live in peace and harmony in this Universe and can only hope that I will live to see the day when we find intelligent extraterrestrial lifeforms. |
