I was born and raised in a beautiful sea town called Leghorn in Tuscany (Italy). I will be 21 the 10th November of this year (2001). Currently I am a student in Pisa University in Engeneer. My favourites hobbies are computer (in particular computer programmig), athletic (in particular running on long distance) and also tv, cinema and music like the great part of the 20 years old boys of industrial nations. I heard about SETI@home about 2 years ago but only in July 2000 I download my SETI@home client and I start to processed my first units. I run SETI@home on my PC (Pentium III 600 Mhz) at home like a memory resident program and not like a screen saver so I can process much more units. I hope to help SETI organization to find an ET intelligence and I think that this is the only way to give a hand in this research because nobody have the possibility to capture signal from the sky with his personal radio telescope. I think that shouls exist ET intelligence in the space otherwise it was only wasted space infact in the space there are many galaxies, many stars (like the Sun) in each galaxy and some planets for each star and at least one could be like the Heart. The discover of an ET intelligence could represent the discover of new tecnologies and new ideas about the life and the sense of the our life. This search could be really difficult and could continue for many years because we could search the wrong signals from the sky (because they could transmit a different type of signal) or because this ET intelligence is a primitive intelligence and no signal was sent.
