Personal background
I'm a 50yr old retired from the USNavy as an Submariner, Nuclear, Electronics Technician. Yeah I know if you look me up I retired as Electrician and not an ET but I spent most of my time in there as a nuke et. Not every thing works out as you like them too lol. Some of it was fun and then I got married lol then fun went away, then my marrage went away and the fun came back but by then I was no longer an ET. Well now I'm retired and having a blast, my 2nd child hood lol. I'm going to stay retired too, I don't plan on ever having to work again.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I believe with the size of the gallaxy there just has to be other life out there. We aren't alone! They may or may not be as advanced or more advanced then us but there is life out there somewhere. We just have to find them. I wish that NASA would get off their lazy butts and start sending ppl to the moon, mars and the astroid belt. We have the technology to do it and even repair our atmosphere we are just to lazy and (hhhmmm yup that includes me lol).
