Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
"Why do you do that? Your not going to find anything. People have looked at those stars for centuries. Your wasting your cpu cycles."

seti@home has already succeeded there is no question of that. The idea of utilizing a several million strong army of cpu's can now be applied to any systematic method of discovery. If this method does not discover bugs it will discover a multitude of other solutions in many fields of science.
