Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists?
I think without a doubt there is not only life, but intelligent life out there. I think that probably like humans, ET may be naughty or nice.
If so, when and how will humans discover it?
Weather or not we will make contact, who knows. It's a pretty big galaxy and an even bigger universe, time is something that plagues us all and it's a B!*CH of a thing that we will probably not meet ET in our lifetimes (unless a few of them happen to be cruising through the neighbourhood in their Model-T Space Ship). Still SETI@home gives us the opportunity to reduce the time before we do meet those "aliens".
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find?
Yeah, probably.
If so, what information should we send?
Hi, from the obscure sitcom-producing planet known as Earth.
Any suggestions?
Peace on Earth and no more reality TV too much to ask?
Do people who spend $3.00 apiece on those little
bottles of Evian water know that spelling it backwards
is Naive?
