Personal background
I'm originally from Constantia, a small town in upstate New York, about sixteen miles north of Syracuse, on the north shore of Onieda Lake. It was a great place to grow up.

I'm presently retired from the U.S. Army after a little over 20 years of service. I'm still on the road though, presently living and working in South Korea supporting a contract with the U.S. Military here. I'm working for General Dynamics as a field service technician providing installation, operations and maintenance support for many communications, network and computer systems. I guess that I'm still seeing the world, even at age 44.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I plan to get a couple other computers on line to support even more processing of Seti data packets. I'm presently working to finish a BS in Computer Science and have several industry certifications under my belt. Computers and computing has become a hobby, somewhat by default.

I have a great interest in supporting the SETI program as much as I possibly can within the limitations of my equipment and funding will allow. I believe that there has got to be more intelligent life out there, not to mention the expanded knowledge of our universe. I refuse to believe that our time and efforts are being wasted as many critics have voiced.
