Hi, Im 28 years old, electro-mechanical maintenance engineer working for a large world wide tube fitting manufacturing group. (www.swagelok.com)
I live in th U.K. England, Cheshire, Weaverham to be more precise.
I have been interested in all aspects of space nearly all my life and have just achieved the means of purchasing my first pro telescope. 8" reflector.
Just need a few clear nights now to use it, but this is Briton so Im not going to hold my breath.

Of course E.T. exists.
The best phrase I have ever heard is the one from the film "Contact" with jodie foster, and I quote, "If it is only us in the universe then it seems an awful waste of space."
Will we find signals from other civilisations, hopefully, but probably not in my lifetime. However, I do know this, if we didn't look then there would be no chance at all, as the saying goes 'youve got to be in it to win it'.
