Personal background
Nothing exciting here! I am from the UK, but for the last twenty years I have lived in West Africa and Thailand.
Most of this time I worked for an American Oilfield Service company. Weatherford Oiltools.
I retired 2 years ago and now run a small Internet based adventure tour business in the south of Thailand. My new web site (under construction) is at
jungle-adventure.com.
I live in the small town of Takuapa in Phangna province not far from Phuket.

I spend all my waking hours messin with my computer, overclocking and tweaking it I have a 1400 Mhz Athlon at 1520 Mhz with 768 Megs ram.

I crunch a WU in around 5 hours.

My next rig will be a Dual Palomino 1533 on an Nvidia Mobo.

Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
My reasons for running Seti@Home are purely as a means to constantly guage my Pc's performance and also for the cameradery of team competition and sharing knowledge. If we discover ET that will be a bonus and I look forward for that day!
