My name is James. I'm 24 years old and I live in a town called Wisbech which is in the east of England, UK.
I've been building computers for quite a while now and I'm always looking to upgrade to keep those WU's crunching just that little bit faster! At the moment I have one PC crunching SETI Classic and I've just switched another over to BOINC to see how well it runs. Hopefully I can have all of my fleet running BOINC and contributing to the cause.
Outside of searching for aliens I enjoy listening to music, in particular Free Jazz, Klezmer & Noise. My favourite artists are David S. Ware & Merzbow but I'll listen to anything that sounds good.
I've also started reading again, my favourite authors are Albert Camus and Stephen King. I'm into the whole Existential Philosophy thing but I do like to kick back and relax with a good horror story every now and then! |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

| It is difficult to imagine the sheer hugeness of the universe and not even consider there is something else out there other than Planet Earth and Humans. Aliens have to exist and I'm sure they're out there sitting at their computers running SETI@home right now trying to sort through all the millions of signals we have been sending out trying to decide whether we are intelligent life! |
