My name is Marc Colten. I'm a retired (from AT and T) computer programmer. I'm a woodworker, writer and political activist. In addition to writing and (sometimes) selling my short stories I have my own quarterly progressive newsletter called "The Liberal Magazine"
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
I run SETI@home because I'm convinced that there MUST be life somewhere in the universe. I hope we make contact sometime in my lifetime and that it is peaceful.
I've only run the older version as a screensaver so I don't know how BOINC will work.
