I have been in search of other life forms that may or may not be
friendly to humans my whole life !! I am a 31 year old male that
belives that there has to be something better out there that will
enhance our day to day lives !!
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Do you think extraterrestrial life exists? There has to be something
more in this universe.
If so, when and how will humans discover it? I think they will discover
us and I am hoping it is in my lifetime.
What are the possible benefits and dangers of such a discovery? I think
the benefits will be advance technology that will cure diseases and world
hunger. The dangers can be a assortment of things: new diseases that would
kill life on this planet to using humans for slave labor.
Should humans transmit a beacon for others to find? Yes they should transmit
a simple message that states: We are a foolish but peaceful race.
Why do you run SETI@home? I think the screen saver feature is really cool
to watch and I love technology.
What are your views about the project? I am facinated with new things and
I think we only can move foward in the search for other life forms if we all
work together.
