Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
Well, I´m sure that there´s not only life on earth. Maybe SETI will be the
project that first finds traces of extraterrestrial life. When we will find
signals or other traces of life doesn´t matter - it will happen. The questions is: How will we be able to meet those extraterrestrial life(forms)? The distances could be so long that no human will ever reach it.
In my opinion we should not send a beacon, cause we already produce enough radio-signals and other stuff...
I´m running SETI on my System cause I think I do something useful.
