My family likes the outdoors, camping and pleasure boating. We spend almost every weekend on the lake. I am an auto tech. and my wife is a nursing tech. |

Yes, of course, I believe very strongly in ET Life, or I wouldn't be here.
We already have discovered it. How else do you explain the ancient Egyptian hetroglyphs of flaming chariots coming from the sky with "men" in what appears to be spacesuits. The markings on the ground in South America that have no meaning, except from the air. Are these markings of creatures they left here, or are they the ones they took back with them, or are they the only creatures they found on this planet. We may never know.
The ruling powers of this world think it is in our best interest to say that they don't exist. I guess they think we, the small ones, are not capable of handling the reality of it. Possibly for fear of panic, anarchy, or loss of religon. For what ever reason, we are being misinformed, or disimformed.
The benefits are probably endless, as well as the dangers. We have no way of knowing what their intentions are. I believe they are friendly or we would already be destroyed. They can get here and we are 100's possibly 1000's of years from getting to where they come from. They were far more advanced than us, and that was over 4000 years ago. How far have they evolved in the last 4000 years? Have their rulers distroyed their planet with greed for power? We almost destroyed ourselves in the early 60's. The way things are going right now we just might get the job done yet. Were the ones that came here the last of their kind and died here. Are we a seed that they planted as an effort to save themselves.
All religons are based on something from out of this world. Humans have always looked to the sky for spiritual guidence, WHY?
I don't think there is anything wrong with sending a specialized signal into space, but what makes us think it will be heard. We are a carbon based life, as is all life on earth. Unless the ET'S are carbon based, like us, what makes us think they can here or see us. We can,t here or see them, or can we? Possilby a whole different dimension of time, matter, and continuim.
