Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The Day I found out about SETI at home I was thrilled about it.
What a great idea! Playing part in what one will consider the most
impacting profound discovery to mankind.
There are countless amount of planets out there. Having even a doubt that life
exists out there would be naive.
To find life on another world will change life on earth as we know it.
It will conflict among certain religions but will open our eyes to so much.
The things we can learn. So many questions answered. So many more questions
will arise.
Will we find life outside of Earth? It's a matter of when, not if.
Chances are that SETI will not find it but we have to start somewhere
and I'm glad that there are organizations out there like SETI that but time,
money and efforts to explore the Universe that we live in.
