I am a single Electrical/Computer Engineer currently in Manhattan, Kansas, where I work for Kansas State University as a Senior Unix Systems Administrator.
Kind of a transplant from Alberta, Canada (grew up in Calgary, first job - Computer/Research Engineer - in Medicine Hat of 8 years), but came to Manhattan, Kansas via 8 years in Dublin, Ohio - Software Engineer. But, things all started with my first year in Lawrence, Kansas....
Might see that I'm a Doctor Who fan. And, other science fiction. Hopefully its obvious that I'm into computers, though I do run into people that think its a just a job...and not a good one. Also into technology and gadgets. And, soon I plan to dive back into photography.... |
| Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home |

I had heard about SETI years ago when I was living in Medicine Hat, Alberta and have always been interested in the possibility of life on other worlds, etc.
When I heard about SETI@home, I knew I just had to run it in the hopes that we'll meet extraterrestrial life during my lifetime. |
