I'm an air traffic controller in Honolulu. I've been interested in astronomy since age 8 or so.
Thoughts about SETI and SETI@home
The universe is way to big and complex for there NOT to be other life out there somewhere. Whether or not we are ever able to detect another civilization, I am not certain. I think we should look, though, and keep looking. Just as any other scientific endeavor, SETI should go on, since we will never have all the answers.
