I am an old geezer born in 1939. I have always been interested in science so why not participate in SETI. Living on social security makes it a small problem to pay for the energy to run 24-7 but I believe it is worth it. I will never be ranked in the highest of the rankings but that is not why I am doing it. My other interests are Fishing ( but I don't get to do much of it), and of course my computer. I am a full time house keeper as my wife is disabled at the present time but that to is worth it. I live in Pensacola, Florida so I am familiar with Hurricanes probably to much so. I am a retired engineer from a local TV station where I was in charge of their computer network of about 80 computers. I can tell you that it is nice to get up in the morning and not go in to work. Now you know more about me that my neighbors do.
